In mid-2001 PALFINGER acquired the Brazilian company Madal S.A., the market leader in South America. Since then PALFINGER has produced truck knuckle boom cranes in Brazil for the South American market as well as telescopic cranes and reach stackers, which are distributed in Brazil only. On the distribution side, forestry cranes and railway applications supplement the product portfolio. As from 2005 further PALFINGER products will be included in the portfolio for the South American market.
The South America Area encompasses the company MADAL PALFINGER S.A. (Caxias do Sul, Brazil). |
